FAQs

Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, I am happy to travel for weddings across the UK and abroad. Travel within my local area may be included in the fee, while venues further away may require a small travel cost. If your wedding is overseas, please include the location when enquiring so travel arrangements can be discussed.
What parts of the wedding can you perform at?
I can perform for several parts of your wedding day including the ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast, and evening entertainment. Many couples choose live music during the ceremony and drinks reception to create a beautiful atmosphere for both themselves and their guests.
Can we choose the songs?
Absolutely. I encourage couples to choose songs that are meaningful to them. I also provide a set list of popular wedding songs for inspiration. If there is a special song you would like that is not already in my repertoire, I am often happy to learn it for your day.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes, I provide all of my own professional sound equipment including speakers and microphone. I only require access to a standard power supply at the venue.
Do you require a deposit?
To secure your wedding date, a 50 percent deposit is required. Once the deposit has been received, your booking will be fully confirmed in my diary.
Following your enquiry and quotation, I am happy to provisionally hold your date for up to 48 hours. After this time, if you would like to secure the date, a 50 percent deposit will be required.
How far in advance should we book?
Popular wedding dates can book up quickly, especially during peak season. Many couples book 12 to 18 months in advance, however it is always worth enquiring as I may still have availability.
How long does it take you to set up?
Set up time is approximately 30 minutes. However, I will always aim to arrive at least one hour before the performance start time to ensure everything is set up properly, sound checked, and ready to run smoothly for your special moment.
Can you perform outside?
Yes, I am happy to perform outdoors if the venue allows it. Outdoor performances are dependent on suitable weather conditions and an appropriate covered area for the equipment.
An indoor alternative should always be available in case the weather changes. The final decision regarding outdoor performances will be made on the day at the artist's discretion to ensure the safety of the equipment and the best quality performance.
Do you take song requests on the day?
For certain parts of the day, such as drinks receptions or evening sets, I am often happy to take requests if I know the song. This can help make the experience even more personal for your guests.
What happens if something unexpected happens and you cannot attend?
In the extremely unlikely event that I cannot attend due to illness or emergency, I will do everything possible to help arrange a professional replacement singer within my network so your day is still covered.
Why should we choose live music for our wedding ceremony?
Live music adds a truly special and emotional atmosphere that recorded music simply cannot replicate. Music plays an important role in every moment of your wedding day, from walking down the aisle to celebrating with your guests.
With over 11 years of experience performing at weddings and events, I understand how important these moments are and how powerful live music can be in enhancing them.
As a bride myself, I also understand just how meaningful every detail of the day feels. The right song, performed live, can make those moments even more personal and memorable for both you and your guests.
My aim is always to create a beautiful atmosphere that reflects your story as a couple and helps make your wedding ceremony feel even more magical and unforgettable.
